South Jersey Farmers Market Season 2026

South Jersey's farmers market season is officially underway, and if you haven't made it out yet, this weekend is the time to start.

From Haddonfield to Cape May Court House, Saturday and Sunday mornings are transforming back into what they should be: a chance to buy directly from the farmers, bakers, and producers who grow and make things a few miles from your house. After a long winter of supermarket trips, the return of local markets feels like a genuine seasonal event.

South Jersey is especially well-positioned for farmers market culture. The agricultural history of this region — the farms of Salem and Cumberland counties, the berry growers of Atlantic and Cape May, the orchards along the Burlington County border — means local produce here is genuinely local, not trucked in from three states away. When the vendors at your Saturday market say "grown here," they almost always mean it.

Buying from a South Jersey farmers market isn't just better for you — it keeps farmland in production and local families in business.

Markets to Know in 2026

Market schedules shift seasonally and sometimes year to year — check each market's website or social media for 2026-specific dates and hours before making the drive. If you know of a South Jersey farmers market we should add to our coverage, let us know.

The Neighborhood Gazette will feature local farmers and producers throughout the season. If you're a South Jersey farmer, baker, or food producer who wants to be considered for a community spotlight, reach out or fill out our nomination form.
